I have a real passion for drawing, painting, etching and photography, using various mediums such as pencil, charcoal, ink pen, watercolour, gouache, acrylic and oil paint. My subject matter varies from portraiture, architectural landscape, to manipulating images through a process of abstraction. I have a natural interest in detail and my work is largely skills-based. My background is art and design. After a 2-year Fine Art course at CityLit in London, finishing in 2007, I completed some etching courses at Camberwell College of Art. I began my career studying at Maidstone College of Art and Croydon School of Art and Design. I have continued with etching and learning engraving at Seal Chart Studio. The Open Studios in June was good fun and very well attended, with about 380 visitors. There was a lot of very positive feedback. I have some paintings on display at The Fringe Exhibition at Artloco in High Street Ticehurst until 14th September and will have a couple of etchings in the Battle Art Fair, later this month.
